We have been going for about 10 years, and we’ve learned a few tricks. Number 1: get your bets in on Wednesday for Thursday’s early games. (the lines can be super long when the sports books open, and the early games start around 9 am local time.) Number 2: Stake out your spot to watch the games. This year, we headed over to Westgate, where we had reserve seating in a theater style room with huge TVs showing all the games, all the time. Number 3: Pace yourself! Don’t get too caught up in the excitement early on. You don’t want blow your entire bankroll on the 1st day!
