“You gotta try your luck at least once a day, because you could be going around lucky all day and not even know it.” ~ Jimmy Dean
A festive, Irish-clad crowd of 200 plus made their way to The McGinnity Room last Friday night to kick of Spokane’s St. Patrick’s Day Season with the 2nd annual O’Danny Boy Bash. The event raised more than $3,000 for Spokane’s Second Harvest hunger-relief network. The event was promoted entirely through word of mouth and social media. For ticketing and event registration we used Eventbrite; an event technology platform that works amazingly well, especially for businesses and organizations that don't have transactional capabilities on their websites. BTW- that's my grand-nephews Jack and Gabe in the pic with the stilt walking ladies!
Very important, as it turns out. 90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business. And 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. Fortunately for The McGinnity Room, they get great online reviews from clients who rave about their incredible venue and exceptional service! In fact, we created a new "Reviews" tab on TMR website highlighting a few of the more recent ones. Because we all know, no one tells your story better than a satisfied client.
My friends at Johnson & Sons Paving had an interesting post this week on 5 attributes that exist within a great team -- trust, direction, influence, transparency and leadership. The most important? Trust. "If trust is not present within your crew, you will not have teamwork."
